Hello, I bought a what I believe to be a dead BP V2XT, for my home shop. At least it looks like this model.

I don't know how badly I screwed up yet, but I'm sure I'll find out. The iron looks pretty good, but the controller isn't alive anymore. My question is, is anyone familiar with these enough that I could ask some questions about what I have here?

My best estimate would be early to mid '90's. It has servos not steppers. Would this be a Boss series controller?

It has pneumatic speed control, inverted drive motor and looks identical to pictures of V2XT's but there is no model name designated on the machine. The control box has a series of serial numbers on the inside door for the different components.

Unfortunately the schematics and manual are missing. Can anyone help me beg, borrow or buy some copies of the schematics and a manual for this once I figure out what I have?

I bought it with the intension of probably having to buy an Ajax retrofit kit if I have to, but would like to see if this one could be repaired. Fortunately I have a friend who is a pretty good electronics whiz, so there may be hope for me yet! Thanks in advance, Steve.
